Diane Aspinall
As a choreographer, dancer, dance teacher, director, fitness Instructor, performer and producer, Diane Aspinall has been a force to reckon with across the performing arts, creative and entertainment industries for over 30 years. A former pupil of Dorothy Stevens and a graduate of Bird College, Diane is renowned for her meticulous attention to detail and with a wealth of international professional experience at her fingertips, she supports all her students as she guides them through an exhilarating, life affirming and often exhausting world of challenges on the road to self-discovery, self-discipline and belief.
Tish Tindall
As a composer, musician, music teacher, musical director, vocal coach, performer and presenter, Tish Tindall has been trail blazing her way across the performing arts, creative and entertainment industries for over 30 years. A graduate of the Northern College of Education, Tish is best known for her collaboration with the late David Gest on a project originally produced by David and Michael Jackson. As a composer Tish creates musical theatre, film scores, television soundtracks and bespoke compositions for high profile projects. She is internationally revered as a “pioneer of the creative industries”, and as she continues to bridge the gap between education and industry, she creates opportunities for all her students by building an ever expanding network of like minded professionals.
Lucy Tindall
Lucy joined the LossieEA team in 2017 after completing her Professional Dance Performance studies at Lossie Entertainment Academy. As a choreographer, dance tutor and fitness tutor Lucy passionately and meticulously creates high quality, cutting edge, fun, inclusive experiences for all her students. Lucy has toured the UK in various Lossie Elite Dance Company and Fabulous Musicals productions including David’s Last Wish where she appeared alongside legendary performers Dionne Warwick, Freda Payne and Gwen Dickie.
Abbie Thomas
After completing her studies in Commercial Music at UWS Abbie moved to London to persue a career in Music. She returned to Scotland in 2018 to take up the position of Music Tutor at LossieEA where she combines her extensive industry knowledge and finely tuned professional musical skills to create bespoke, differentiated, progressive, fun and inclusive learning & performing experiences for all her students. As a touring and recording artist Abbie can be seen performing all over the UK at major festivals as part of the hugely successful Apples I’m Home.
Andy Thomas
Andy joined LossieEA in 2018 after more than a decade of studying, performing and recording commercial music. A graduate of UWS Andy spent the first years of his career in London where he developed the reputation of a highly sought after session musician with incredible rhythmic precision. As a music tutor and recording engineer, Andy creates inclusive masterclasses for all his students. Andy can be seen performing all over the UK at major festivals as part of the hugely successful Apples I’m Home.
Leah Hay
Steven Barclay
Steven is a versatile touring artist with roots in traditional music, successfully transitioned to pop music, resulting in radio features and performances at esteemed venues across the UK. With experience in both traditional and popular music industries,
Steven offers a unique perspective to the LossieEA Learning & Teaching Team. Starting this new academic term, Steven will be teaching HNC/HND Music, and 1-2-1/group sessions in accordion, chanter, guitar, singing, and songwriting.
