Through our employability programmes, schools work and adapted curriculum provision, we use performing arts and creative practice to help people recognise their strengths, build confidence and take meaningful steps towards education, training, volunteering and employment.

Performing arts develop skills that reach far beyond performance. Participants learn to communicate, collaborate, listen, prepare, present themselves, solve problems, respond to feedback, manage pressure and adapt.
These are creative skills. They are employability skills. And they are life skills.
PERFECT PATTER™
Created by Tish Tindall, Perfect Patter™ is ElginEA’s home-grown employability programme, using performing arts techniques to build confidence, communication, clarity and professional presence.
Launched in 2024, Perfect Patter™ has supported around 100 people across Moray, Aberdeen City, Highland and Angus. Accredited programmes have achieved a 99% success rate, with 100% of participants progressing into training, volunteering or employment.

Working with Schools
CREATIVE EDUCATION THAT MEETS PEOPLE WHERE THEY ARE
ElginEA works with schools to create flexible and meaningful learning opportunities through the performing arts.
As an Adapted Curriculum Provider, we can support young people who may benefit from an alternative or more creative route through education. Programmes can incorporate Acting, Dance, Music, Musical Theatre, Creative Industries, Employability and Confidence & Communication.
Provision can be shaped around the age, needs, abilities and outcomes of individual pupils or groups, supporting creative development, re-engagement with learning, confidence, recognised achievement and progression into further education, training or employment.
Traditional education doesn’t work equally well for everyone. Performing arts can provide a practical alternative pathway where pupils learn by doing, creating, communicating and collaborating.

No two schools, organisations or groups are the same, so we don’t believe their programmes should have to be either.
ElginEA can provide anything from a one-off creative workshop or short confidence programme to accredited employability provision, adapted curriculum placements and longer-term school partnerships.
Participants can also gain meaningful experience through productions, events, outreach, workshops, community projects and volunteering — giving them opportunities to practise communication, teamwork, responsibility and professionalism in real settings.
