OUR NEW HOME IN ELGIN
Our story began in Lossiemouth in 1999 and is now beginning an exciting new chapter.
9 North Guildry Street will become the principal home of ElginEA Studios & Performing Arts College, bringing education, performing arts, employability, health and wellbeing together in the heart of Elgin.
Our move to Elgin will allow us to welcome more people, increase opportunities, strengthen partnerships and create a vibrant specialist centre in use throughout the day, evenings and weekends.
Lossiemouth will always remain an important part of our story, with a studio presence retained there as we continue to grow opportunities across Moray.
Proud of our past. Excited for what’s next.
WHAT WE DO
MORE THAN PERFORMING ARTS CLASSES
At ElginEA, education, employability and entertainment connect.
From Early Years through to Higher National qualifications, from weekly classes and live performance to schools, employability, health and wellbeing, we create opportunities for people of all ages to learn, achieve and thrive.
Classes
Every age. Every stage.
Classes for children, young people and adults across:
Acting · Dance · Music · Musical Theatre · Acrobatic Arts · Aerial Skills · Fitness & Wellbeing
Whether it is someone’s very first class or the next stage of their training, our studios provide opportunities to learn, develop, perform and belong.
COLLEGE
Education → Performance → Employability
Bespoke, performance-led and industry-facing education across Acting, Dance, Music, Musical Theatre and Creative Industries.
Pathways include IPAC™, EPAC™, NC, HNC and HND, with qualifications through Qualifications Scotland and RSL Awards.
IPAC™ and EPAC™ pathways can be cross-curricular or subject-specific, allowing learning to be shaped around the individual student’s strengths, needs and ambitions.
Employability
Skills for the stage. Skills for life.
The performing arts don’t just prepare people for the stage.
They develop confidence, communication, resilience, teamwork and transferable skills that can be taken into every industry and every walk of life.
Through programmes including our home-grown Perfect Patter™, we use creativity to help people discover what they can do and prepare for education, training, volunteering and employment.
Schools
Creative education that meets people where they are.
We work with schools and partners to create engaging, meaningful learning experiences through the performing arts.
As an Adapted Curriculum Provider, our programmes can support engagement, confidence, communication, participation and personal development while creating alternative pathways into education, training and employment.
